Rested with my husband and brother at Amari Palm Reef Resort in October this year. Even before we went to buy a tour, we decided that we were going only to Koh Samui. We have already been to Pattaya with Phuket, now I wanted to visit such an island, so that it would be far from civilization, but not quite out of the way, like Koh Samet. After digging in the internet, we decided that we wanted a hotel on Chawang Beach. Well, in the office of Natalie Tours we were offered Amari.
The hotel is amazing and has a lot to offer. Located on the very shore, from the window of the room every evening a wonderful view of the ocean sunset. Pools (with a waterfall) of an intricate shape, a large area planted with exotic (for us) plants, a botanical garden is resting. The paths are paved with cheerful clay tiles. The architecture is traditional, on the whitewashed basement floors of a natural wood house with beautiful pagoda-like roofs. No urbanism. Very responsible and hardworking staff - in the restaurant, that the cleaners on the beach, that those who look after the territory.
I won’t write about the cuisine, whoever was in Thailand knows about cheapness, and about the freshest seafood, and about fruits that you will never try in Russia at all, even if there is a lot of money. And who has not been, let him go. I can only say that in addition to hotel establishments, there are many different worthy cafes on the coast. We didn't manage to get around everything in two weeks, but we'll be back. And now I have to urgently master fried noodles with squid and pork, otherwise my husband will kick me out of the house)))

We did not hang out on the beach all the days - several times for a change we chose sights. First, back in Moscow, they set their sights on Ang Thong Park, which consists of a scattering of islets in the Gulf of Thailand. Completely wild, untouched by civilization nature. They didn't ignore the crocodiles either, drove to the airport and for five hundred rubles admired the sleepy freshwater alligators and their skinny chicken being fed from a fishing rod. Then we went to the oceanarium, where, like inveterate Cousteau, we stared at the marine fauna for three hours. Butterfly garden passed us, although brother Kolya was just thirsty, but the trip to Namuang waterfall was impressive. Of course, there is no monstrosity of Niagara in him, he is simply handsome, you sit next to him for half an hour and it’s as if he rebooted, washes away all thoughts.
We rented a car for three days. Traffic in Tae is left-handed, but my brother drives well, he quickly orientated himself. The roads are excellent. We enjoyed touring the island ourselves.
Having been in paradise, in which I would have settled with pleasure forever, if I had the opportunity to earn money here, I decided that now I will only go to Europe in retirement, but for now I only want to Thailand, and even want to go to Vietnam.
