You can ride scooters all over the island (waterfalls, a fishing village, viewing platforms, Buddhist temples, and just move around so as not to walk). About souvenirs: DO NOT BUY ANYTHING either in PTT or anywhere if you are in BKK. In BKK, everything is the same, 1.5-3 times cheaper.
