But we chose an alternative for ourselves - there are a lot of rentals near the ski lifts, one of them is so green, they pick it up perfectly, you can secure equipment for yourself for the entire stay and you don’t have to shove it all back to the hotel. In fact, from the hotel to the ski lift, 10-15 minutes of leisurely walking through a beautiful coniferous forest, roads and paths are cleaned and illuminated. The price of the "skipass" is 37 euros with a refund of 15 euros if used up to 2 hours and 33 euros without a refund for one day, for several days there are discounts within 5-15%. Near the hotel there are two restaurants "Kolyby" with national food, the food is rustic, but fresh. For a company of 4 adults and 2 children, they spent about 90-120 euros for dinner (knuckle, first, second, beer, pickles, dessert for children). The hotel rooms are not large, they clean ashamedly, there are towels, bathrobes, plasma TVs with USB in the room, it is very warm, and in general the hotel is very warm, keep this in mind when collecting things, a T-shirt, jeans and sneakers will not interfere. There is a children's room, you can safely leave the children, than they will find something to play there. From Strebský Pleso to Poprad there is an electric train, it is beautiful to ride during the day, it is convenient to ride it to the lifts of other towns. If you go by car, check with the hotel the cost of parking, because initially they say that it is free, but in the end they issue an invoice. When paying for a room at the reception by accident - accidentally tried to charge 80 euros, do not hesitate to check the bills. For those who have read my chaotic monologue, I want to say - go, you won’t regret Strbske Pleso, these are the High Tatras and there is always snow there until mid-March, so for sure, if you don’t want snow, you can also find many interesting entertainments in the hotel and its districts.
