Gorgeous view of the Tatras from the window and balcony! Close to the cultural center of the city! Nice staff! One small minus - if your windows face the side of the main entrance, it can be noisy) BUT... this is not a problem!

Very cozy hotel. Friendly staff, very clean and tidy. The hotel has a pleasant smell. The only drawback, perhaps for some, is a balcony for two rooms. Very nice rooms and really wonderful view of the Tatras. Nearby there are two supermarkets and a water park - for lovers of walks it is better to walk, but still it is better to drive.

I have stayed at the Poprad Hotel several times. Why - yes because it is a very good hotel. Large convenient reception, 2 elevators allow the group to quickly accommodate in the rooms. The room has comfortable soft beds, a good bathroom. The restaurant has good food and very friendly staff. From the window there is a magnificent view of the square.

A 10-minute walk is a MAKS supermarket, you can buy both sneakers and things.

Were in 2011. I read a lot about the Poprad hotel, not very forest reviews. In fact, everything is not so. Arrived at night, served very quickly. We lived in a 3 bed room. Friends lived in 2-bed rooms. The rooms themselves are clean, there is always hot water, there is Wi-Fi, though only in the presentation hall and close to it.

The windows blow a little, but they heat very strongly. Slept with the window open. Food for breakfast is good. Phones were left in the room, nothing was stolen. In general, we had a very good rest, but apart from the ski slopes there is nothing to see.

The hotel is reminiscent of Soviet hotels of the late 80s - early 90s. Everything is so powerful, there is carpet everywhere (even on the walls in the elevator). Wooden windows are all siphoning - age is taking its toll. Very uncomfortable and slippery baths. In principle, clean, daily cleaning, towels are changed on demand, beds - every other day.

Wooden windows are all siphoning - age is taking its toll. Very uncomfortable and slippery baths. In principle, clean, daily cleaning, towels are changed on demand, beds - every other day. No food. This applies to both the "buffet" for breakfast, which was included in the price of the tour, and lunches and dinners, which were ordered several times. In the morning, if you come after eight (breakfast starts at 6-30), there is practically nothing to eat. You have to beg the waiters to bring something from the kitchen. They bring a strictly limited amount, and then not all that was in stock at the beginning of breakfast. Once, for dinner, instead of the ordered pork chop, they brought chicken. They made it look like they needed it.
The advantage of the hotel is its convenient location. 5 min walk to the main street. Nearby are the shops of Bill and Max (supermarket "Gipernova"), 10 minutes walk to the railway station. From the windows of the hotel opens och. picturesque view of the High Tatras. We went for a ride to the Tatranska Lomnitsa, about 15 minutes by car from the hotel. In general, I can say about the rest in Slovakia - the mountains, slopes and skiing are cool, I liked it. Hotel, food, leisure - just none. To feel the flavor, we went to Poland for one day, in Zakopane. We have vacationed there in recent years. From Poprad only 75 km. We came to the conclusion that the next trip can be combined - to live in Poland, and ride to Slovakia.
