It so happened that in the last two trips we traveled through Slovenia. But if on the first trip we saw her from the window and at stops, then on this trip we have a visit to Ljubljana. I have always been very curious about what a city with that name looks like. The road to Ljubljana, through the territory of Slovenia, as a prelude to a long-awaited date. Ideal autobahns, well-groomed cottage towns floating outside the window (you definitely can’t call them villages) and beautiful mountains - everything sets you up in a positive way. And that wonderful air! Transparent and clean, obviously absorbed the beauty of the mountains and the purity of the rivers. Ljubljana is a small town, so there are no suburbs. A few minutes after the exit from the autobahn and we are already in the city center. A beautiful small capital of a European country. Ljubljana is a city of tiny bridges, interesting architecture and, oddly enough, bicycles. They have a government program. From the central square, past the famous Trimostovye, along the Ljubljanica embankment, we walk around the city. The weather is great, which is rare. Ljubljana is located in a hollow between the mountains and it often rains there and in the mornings there is smog. Above the square, on the mountain, the castle dominates. Probably it offers a beautiful view, but, unfortunately, there is no time to visit it. We pass the market, which seems to have everything. On the left, rows of shops stretch along the embankment. The air smells of baking and something else pleasant. We pass the bridge with a transparent coating. It features amateur musicians. Friday, 15.00 - it is obvious that the working week is over and everyone is calmly basking in the sun, smiling at each other and not in a hurry. We reach the bridge with the famous dragons. They are not very big and not scary at all. We wander along the cozy streets. We visit the Cathedral of St. Nicholas. Then we decide to sit down for lunch. Lunch for two: fried Ljubljana sausages with salad, game meat stew and white wine, all about 30 euros. Having bought souvenirs and red wine "Kras Tiran", we decide to have another beer. They have two varieties of their own production "Union" in Ljubljana and "Lashko" in Maribor. My companion and I liked "Union" more, although the owner of the breweries is the same. I thought it smelled like honey. My companion did not agree, but after five minutes two wasps appeared at the glass, which was difficult to get rid of. So the smell of honey remained for me the last chord of the meeting with Ljubljana. Such a small country Slovenia. and you can find everything in it: springs for swimming, and mountains for skiing, and the sea. Everyone can find entertainment for themselves. See you Slovenia!
