Three months in the Seychelles... My advice
I have been living in the Seychelles for three months now. I work in a large hotel on the island of Mahe. I am engaged in servicing Russian-speaking tourists. I conduct excursions, accompany on trips around the islands, show "local flavor" - sorcerers and artists, night discos, holidays, churches, museums, nature reserves, markets, villas for sale, offshore company registration firms - whoever is interested.
The people here are cheerful and friendly. She loves to dance and sing with the guitar. I especially like night parties with a fire on the beach, when a company of ten or fifteen people gathers. Local men are very temperamental, and that's great!
What would I advise tourists in the Seychelles? Here is my Top-10 list:
- watch a military parade and a costume procession in Victoria on the main national holiday "Constitution Day", celebrated on June 18;
- have fun at the Katiolo nightclub: large dance floor, great music, themed nights, special shows, a huge selection of drinks, a diverse audience (a good place to meet representatives of the local LGBT community);
- visit the entertainment center (Amusement Center) on Mahe, this is on the way to Inter islands quay;
- play roulette and poker at the Casino des Iles on Praslin Island;
- try the local liqueur "Coco d'Amour", made from the juice of the famous Seychelles nut "coco de mer";
- go to Anse Intendance beach - in my opinion, the best beach on the island of Mahe; by the way, there you can sunbathe and swim naked;
- walk through the jungle that is on every island and enjoy the beauty of the landscapes and wildlife of the Seychelles;
- book a helicopter ride (it costs 4.500 rupees per hour for four passengers) and fly over the islands - an unforgettable experience;
- go to a local healer and buy a gris-gris - a potion made according to old recipes, for all occasions;
- finally, real men will not be indifferent to fishing in the Indian Ocean!
(- I'm not talking about diving ... )
