Upon arrival at the hotel, the administrator JANA (German) demanded to pay the remaining amount - 50% immediately. I agreed to pay the remaining 50% in cash and that was my big mistake. Having transferred the necessary amount for payment, I asked the administrator for a check (payment document), but she, citing employment, promised to provide it to me later. But I could not receive the invoice either on that day or on the following ones. The reasons were different: “the computer was frozen”, lack of time, snorkeling during working hours, and so on.
Here is a small digression. If you visit websites with tourist reviews about Seychelles hotels, you will find information there that all kinds of manipulations are made in Seychelles hotels when paying for accommodation, such as: re-withdrawal of money from customer accounts, registration of services or drinks that the guest did not use and other frauds. Now you will surely understand my state of mind when I did not receive a check for payment after a week. To my great regret, I had to speak with the hotel administrator in a raised voice and inform the administrator that she might have problems. And only after that, lo and behold, I was given no, not a check, but a certificate of payments made by me.
The perspicacious reader must have understood how our stay at the hotel turned out after this ill-fated information. The Resort Hotel became the Spandauer Hotel, and the administrator became a prison guard. Rudeness and undisguised rudeness is the style of the administrator's communication with us. We communicated with each other in Russian and this only “added fuel to the fire”. By the way, mostly Germans rested in the hotel, and the attitude of the administrator towards them was completely different: the administrator was politeness itself. Again the notorious double standards.
Just one example of rudeness on the part of the administrator. Being at the table during lunch, and waiting for an unbearably long change of dishes, my wife had the imprudence to pinch off a piece of bread included in the menu and feed the birds that scurry around in abundance, and I, being in the drowsy bliss of a vacationer before, he suddenly almost jumped out of his chair - this is the madam administrator with a heart-rending cry and eyes bulging with anger shouted at the whole restaurant: "Do not dare to do this! ". This was followed by another series of boorish phrases. And this time, at the next table, not cleaned by the waiters after the guests, the birds, tired of waiting, tormented the bread for their pleasure, torturing it on the floor, like your Prince Charles a Polo ball. Further, our bread (and butter, for some reason) was removed from our table in a hysterical manner by the administrator.
And now a little about the service. In a hotel with a category of 4 stars, there were not always beach towels, and the guests had to lie on wet mattresses or someone would stick somewhere; our villa was surrounded by a fence that had sagged with time, as if it had come out of a remote village; there were only 4 kayaks in the hotel with a minimum requirement of 10; free water was offered only at 0.5 liters per person (and this is on a tiny island without shops), the rest of the water had to be bought at a bar for a restaurant price.
I forgot to mention that when I checked into the hotel, I presented a voucher stating that we had a full board-FB, but the administrator and his restaurant colleagues tried to “put a spoke in the wheels” here, claiming that we had half board-HB, and so Further. In the restaurant, during dinner, some guests were allowed to smoke, and the waiters reacted very restrainedly to my indignation. I will also add a beach that has not been cleaned from marine vegetation.
There are a lot of problems in the hotel and instead of resolving them, to think about how to make the hotel stay more comfortable, corresponding to the 4-star category, the hotel administrator directed his energy to creating unbearable conditions for us, but not for his fellow tribesmen from Germany: for them at the hotel- Eden.
Dear reader, think about whether you need to visit this ill-fated hotel? Do you want to "step on my rake"? And if, more than expected, you suddenly wander here, then please say hello to Jana from Vladimir. Kiss her on the cheek from me and say: “Ich liebe dich Jana! ” (I love you, Jana! )
After all, the Lord commanded us to forgive!
