The hotel is located not quite in the center. But given the small size of the town, this is not particularly stressful. Is it possible to rent an apartment in new buildings on the outskirts of the city - then, yes, you are not on foot.
The hotel "Crystal" 3 * is new, built clearly on a conditional six acres, in fact, like all neighboring hotels. The sea is very close, on the next street.
There is parking for guests which is convenient. The car rental service in the Kaliningrad region is very popular, so many guests, like us, come by car. On peak dates, there is a shortage of places, according to the administrator, but somehow they are arranged.
The hotel is quite small, with 12 rooms, some of them are two-room. Going inside, I thought if I was wrong in my choice. Somehow it's quite simple. But no, everything is very worthy. The room is cozy and comfortable. The floor-to-ceiling window opens wide for ventilation. There is a mosquito net, by the way. And the fumigator too. There is a tea station (tea and sugar are included, but for some reason there is no coffee), a refrigerator, water that is replenished and even a safe. A wonderful mirror cabinet and, yes, normal human coat hangers in the cabinet : )).
The bathroom is small but everything is new. True, the mixers are "killed" by some vigorous chemistry. Sadly.
Soaps and shampoos available. I always carry my cosmetics with me. And this time I just forgot to replenish the travel bag. Well, it was necessary for this to happen, empty bottles were being carried. I used hotel shampoo. Girls don't do this! Do not comb your hair, do not style it. Fortunately, it was a hat season, especially in hairstyles not in need. Even the short-haired husband "checked out" the gluing abilities of this... er... wonderful chemical composition : )).
And this tiny hotel serves buffet breakfasts. Such a wonderful table, I tell you! No, well, without the red fish, of course : )), but there is all the necessary breakfast set of dishes. And very tasty! You can have breakfast the day before.
The staff are nice and kind and diligent. Somehow it so happened in our hotel experience that the same soap-and-rinse consumables are not replenished immediately in all hotels, they say, you still have it here - so spend it up. And in the "Crystal" it was striking that the maid added to replace the used bottles. Not a great blessing, but, after all, I remember it, it was noted)). I don’t know if any buns are supposed to be on the occasion of a birthday, but my husband asked, they promised a bottle of champagne. Forgotten, however, it happens : ). We are not shy, especially with regards to all sorts of bonuses and goodies, reminded. Everything was quickly corrected.
It may be a drawback for some - this is the lack of an elevator. Keep in mind.
Little pleasant things touch me: children's equipment, for example - I know from my own experience, a thing absolutely necessary, but it takes up half a suitcase. Or, here, umbrellas - this is, straight, my topic, I always get into the rain. But not this time, fortunately.
There is also a sauna at the hotel, which can be a pleasant addition after a walk. But it is better to book it in advance. We had an idea to use this service, and I even took a bathing suit with me, but there was absolutely no time. So the swimsuit rolled in vain in the backpack.
We have the most positive impressions from staying at the Kristall 3* hotel. Liked it very much. Clean, cute, cozy, tasty and… for a nice price, which is the most important thing! I would say that for the money it exceeded expectations. It is difficult to say what will happen by the season, but in this period, off-season, I recommend it in all respects.
