My family and I were very pleased with the hotel and the city as a whole! During the day we walked a lot, visited excursions (which were ordered from hotel managers), and in the evening we spent an evening with live music in the restaurant at the hotel !! ! We'll be back and take a couple of friends : )

I really liked the location of the hotel, in the very center, 5 minutes from the Kremlin and 5 minutes from the railway station. Friendly staff, very beautiful rooms, it can be seen that only after renovation.

The hotel is very convenient for the tourist route, as it is located 10 minutes, at a leisurely pace, from the Kremlin. In general, the hotel is good, but here's what I didn't like: -sheets laid out in the evening on the floor along all the corridors of the hotel. -we were in the cold and, to be honest, we froze in the room, because the temperature was stable at 17 degrees, when we arrived in winter, the temperature in the room did not rise above 15 degrees, the batteries work weakly in both smoking and non-smoking rooms.

"Volkhov" is a visiting inn, in which the hotel service is absent in principle as a concept. We were in June 2011 in a room that "Volkhov" calls "junior suite" - squalor is still that! Antediluvian TV, smelly wicker plastic Soviet wastebaskets, and without garbage bags, a wooden chair from the 50s, single-layer toilet paper thinner than tissue paper, a tiny washbasin, one foot towel for two, when taking a shower, most of the water turned out to be on the floor and so on.

Was in Novgorod for work. Stayed at the Volkhov Hotel. What can I say about her. Excellent hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Nice comfortable, clean rooms. You can have a delicious meal in the restaurant. + the hotel is very conveniently located, it makes it easy to get anywhere.

A very good hotel with friendly staff. Conveniently located (in the city center) for tourists is very convenient, at least it was convenient for me to get to all the historical monuments I was interested in, etc. Comfortable rooms and a good restaurant (where you can eat very tasty).

I liked everything wildly, I was in many hotels both abroad and in Russia, one of the best. I was especially struck by the friendly staff, all smiling and ready to help. The food is very tasty. Recommend.

They came half an hour before the end of breakfast (buffet) - everything was there and everything was hot. True, we were on weekdays. Hope all is well over the weekend. Complex lunches and dinners for 400 rubles. the food is also very tasty and plentiful. The service in the restaurant is very pleasant and friendly. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Though it might be small for some. Cleaned and change towels every day. The reception staff are very attentive and patient: they explained for a long time. I recommend to everyone. If I go to Novgorod again, I will definitely stop at Volkhov.
