My sister and I rested in the Yantar sanatorium in Svetlogorsk at the end of August 2014.
1. Accommodation
We were seated very quickly and without any problems.
Standard room
Plastic windows, a balcony without chairs and a dryer, a wardrobe, 2 bedside tables, 2 beds (for joy they are not hard), 2 chairs, 2 glasses. TV (4 programs). Fridge.
Shower cubicle (small), 2 bars of soap; 3 towels, toilet paper and trash bags are provided upon request. Bedding is changed once a week. The rooms are not cleaned. I advise you to make friends with the maids - they gave us a clothes dryer and got a hair dryer.
I advise you to take rooms only in 1 building with windows to the courtyard. Otherwise, the noise of cars, trains (with open windows) and gas pollution will be provided to you.
2. Treatment
Appointed 7 procedures, almost all in 1 building, where they lived (very convenient)
There are no complaints about doctors
All the nurses are polite, except for one (hydrocircular shower), she is in her mood, she can be rude.
3. Nutrition
Swedish table. The menu will be posted below. I will say right away that the insane crowd was annoying, running around the dishes, pushing and always worrying that they would not get it. The worst thing is that my sister and I were included in this process - Snatch. And in vain. Later, we realized that when everyone sat down happy to eat what they had grabbed, other dishes were immediately taken out, and sometimes more interesting. So if there were forces, we made the second trip for the supplement.
I read a lot of unflattering reviews about the quality of food and that the Swedish table is bad in the sanatorium. It depends on what to compare! If with Greece or Turkey, where you stand at the beginning of the table and you can’t see the end of the dishes, then of course “Yantar” is not a rival here... and naturally there were no exotic fruits and overseas nuts.
Always for breakfast, lunch and dinner were given:
- 7 salads (when we gave 5 we were already unhappy)
- Side dishes: buckwheat, pasta, potatoes, rice (or pilaf), solyanka
- Liver, fish, chicken (chunks or chops), cutlets, meatballs, stuffed cabbage or meat pieces in different versions.
- To flour: condensed milk, jam, sour cream, yogurt
Breakfast:
4 cereals
Tea, coffee (usually weak, alas), juice, milk.
Omelette 2 types - always; scrambled eggs with sausage, sausages; Cottage cheese casserole and just cottage cheese
Be sure to have something from flour (pancakes or pancakes), + buns or cookies
Drain. butter, cheese, ham and sometimes salted red fish
Dinner:
4 first courses
tea, juice
One Fruit (issued in person)
Buns, cookies
Dinner:
Buns, pancakes or pancakes
Kissel, cocoa, sometimes kefir.
Conclusion:
1. You won't leave hungry
2. Many dishes are very tasty. We advise you not to fill up right away, wait until they bring another new one.
3. According to taste data, the food class is not a canteen, but closer to a cafe.
4. Events
If the first half of the day was intensive (until 14.00 of the procedure), then the second had to be occupied somehow.
Excursions, walking around the amber-souvenir stalls, admiring the sea, a minimum of shops - that's all the entertainment.
The worst is evenings. A huge disadvantage of this resort is no dancing!! ! In all sanatoriums there are evenings of rest, she personally went, and even danced)))). Yes, there were a lot of pensioners and the music was sometimes terrible, but every evening people preened themselves and went out to the dance floor.
So in the evenings we sometimes went to nearby cafes to drink beer.
