Location of the hotel in the city center, not far from the railway station, 5 minutes from the Trinity-Sergius Lavra, on the bank of the city pond, where ice slides are installed in winter and a large skating rink is organized.

We spent three unforgettable days (from January 5 to January 8.2016) in Sergiev Posad and, in many respects, thanks to accommodation in a cozy mini-hotel Kelarskaya Embankment. Location of the hotel in the city center, not far from the railway station, 5 minutes from the Trinity-Sergius Lavra, on the bank of the city pond, where ice slides are installed in winter and a large skating rink is organized. The service of the hotel is at a very high level. The interiors and arrangement of the rooms are beyond praise. Administrators are extremely attentive and patient to the needs of their guests. Breakfast was served to us at a convenient time for us. We ordered Christmas dinner at the restaurant on the Winter Veranda. Perfectly cooked and decorated grilled fish with salad and wine cost about 1000 rubles per person. In a word, the Christmas holiday of 2016 turned out to be a holiday for the soul (wonderful services at the Trinity-Sergius Lavra! ) and for the body (accommodation at the Kelarskaya Embankment mini-hotel! ).
A small personal wish: it would be nice to have a teapot and cups in the room so as not to disturb the administrators when you want to drink tea. In everything else - great!

Going once again to Sergeyev Posad, we picked up a hotel closer to the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin. We found a small hotel "Kelarskaya Embankment" on the map. It is located just a 15-minute walk from the railway station near the most beautiful ponds and the Kelarka River, on the central Red Army Avenue in the literal sense at the crossroads of history: next to the world-famous Trinity-Sergius Lavra, around - the old city quarters.

It is located just a 15-minute walk from the railway station near the most beautiful ponds and the Kelarka River, on the central Red Army Avenue in the literal sense at the crossroads of history: next to the world-famous Trinity-Sergius Lavra, around - the old city quarters. The historic building of the hotel appeared at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries and was intended for one of the first power plants in pre-revolutionary Russia.
Since then, the Art Nouveau building has been rebuilt more than once, changing its appearance, but has always remained one of the most recognizable images of the Golden Ring pearl.
The interiors and rooms of the hotel (there are only five of them: 3 standard, family and suite) are beautifully decorated in the classic style of the 20th century. Cleanliness is impeccable! The rooms have everything you need to stay, like in 5 * hotels. The price of the room (quite affordable! ) Includes breakfast. The excellent restaurant at the hotel offers a variety of homemade dishes. I would especially like to mention the very attentive staff, ready to fulfill any of your requests. The hotel has parking.
