SARANSK - an unfamiliar old acquaintance. Part 2. Nostalgic
In the previous "Introductory front" part we got to < strong>PKiO im. A. S. Pushkin.
There are several parks in Saransk, for example, here is another one on the outskirts of the city
Park in the Proletarsky District
Park in the Proletarsky District
But PKiO im. A. S. Pushkin the most popular. It was founded in 1864 as a city garden, in 1899 it received the name of the great poet >park site ). The people call it simply Pushkin Park, less often Central.
For some reason, it seems to me that earlier this panel with the date was more beautiful. . Well, yes, and the grass is greener : )))
In my childhood, going to the Park was cooler than New Year's - it's such an overkill: ice cream, soda and even cotton candy,
Obligatory family photo, the most gorgeous bow on the head, smart parents... Crowds of people, huge queues for each attraction.
And what was going on near the pavilion with electric cars - autodrome! Do not break through the male crowd : )). I confess, my husband and I managed to ride and ride them only now, well, as if we were rolling children : )))
The park is very well maintained and ennobled. He was like that before. For the achievements in organizing cultural recreation, the Ministry of Culture of the RSFSR in 1963 awarded the park the title of "The Best Park of Culture and Recreation of the RSFSR".
The bench says "Bench of Reconciliation"
This is not only attractions, but also a wonderful place for walking.
The park keeps up with the times. In my opinion, a rather convenient system of payment for attractions has been arranged: a long-playing card is bought, charged with any amount, and at the entrance to the attraction, the required cost is deducted from it. Is it possible to return it back - I was not interested, in the next few years we will still need it : )) This card is valid in all parks of the city. There are also one-time cards, but, to be honest, I didn’t delve into it. (Well, that's right, something like recommendations for a potential tourist : ))
Walking along the shady alleys, you can learn a lot of interesting things
This is bullshit, but it's nice and nice : )
In the early 2000s, a zoo was also opened near the park, which was originally conceived as a zoo corner with rabbits, but somehow a whole zoo turned out like that. On each of our trips, the children drag me there.
He, it seems, is not very large in area, but there are many animals.
No trees were harmed when creating the enclosures
And you can even feed some of them. The cost of a waffle cup with pieces of vegetables, it seems, is 25 rubles. My cubs made do with their own means. Only on the third glass they asked for financial assistance : ))
If we return to the financial issue, then by Mokovsky standards, of course, everything costs ridiculous money. For entrance to the zoo for 2 adults. + 2 children and taking into account paid photography in 25 rubles! (we simply could not ignore it, it would have been 200 - they wouldn’t have zapatit), they gave no more than 500 rubles. The cost of attractions is 50-100 rubles.
It was in this zoo for the first time that I saw a peacock with a loose tail (I hit it at the right time), and I heard how a lion and a lioness were talking to the whole district, and each one calmly lay in his place, just turned his head towards the interlocutor, the lion, though a show-off, growls very artistically, little children are frightened.
The zoo regularly hosts some events. We got to the exhibition-competition of birdhouses
If by some miracle you have been brought to Saransk, do not disregard this green corner in the middle of the city, saturated with history and positive emotions. And of course, well, just be sure to take a ride on the Ferris wheel, no matter how scary (like me)
Here it is - Saransk - at your feet!! !
By the way, in that house with a turret, until recently, the famous French Mordvin (or Mordovian Frenchman) - Gerard Depardieu (Depardyaikin in the local way) was registered. With the advent of Depardieu in Saransk, this quarter began to be called French, and a French restaurant was even expected to open there under the Rotunda. Whether the actor actually lived in this house is not known for certain. Most likely, he did not even know where the address indicated in the passport is given : )).
While in this area, you cannot pass by the monument "Forever with Russia". On the top photo a little to the right
The monument "Forever with Russia" was erected in 1985 to mark the 500th anniversary of the entry of the Mordovian people into Russia. By 2012, when the 1000th anniversary of the unity of peoples was arranged, the whole hill with the monument was reconstructed, the height of the structure was increased, fountains were arranged (also with light and music), the whole territory was ennobled. And all this is called Friendship Square. But for us it was once a training ground: we ran around with poles and theodolites : ))
Yeah, they probably don't let you in with landmarks now : )) Indeed, it turned out very elegant and solemn! (Photo not mine, from internet)
So we close the circle, we return to Sovetskaya Square to Sovetskaya Street, on the opposite high bank of the Saranka River from the monument. There is one building here that belongs to the monuments of regional significance: in the past it was the Party School, and now it is the 4th building of Moscow State University (I promised in the last part), where the construction and geographical departments, the university publishing house, and the university archive are located. There used to be a computer center with such huge computers, they even gave us a tour there : ))
Thui, by the way, we planted... something was not very successful: ))
I haven't been here for a long time, but I feel like going to the crime scene : )).
It was here, within these walls, that my husband and I spent our merry student years (we still have fun). The kind guard allowed us to walk along the corridors, although it was not supposed to, of course, but, apparently, the presence of children weakened his guard grip : ))
Plague!! ! This is where time really stopped.
Nothing has changed since our graduation, only the smell of the canteen and smoking is missing (well, this is probably because the holidays have already happened), and a slight haze near the men's room. No, the horizontal bar was screwed in in the light of promoting a healthy lifestyle, I don’t remember the curtains.
Yes, there is clearly no smell of reconstruction here in the foreseeable future. . . The MSU farm is too big, hands will not reach the outskirts of Sovetskaya Square soon. . . Well, somehow it was in the 1st building, only worse.
And these are the views from the windows of classrooms
And immediately memories stirred up: instead of the Ice Palace (the yellow building in the photo on the left) there was some kind of swamp overgrown with shrubs. It’s hot, student boys drink beer, student girls don’t indulge in beer yet (still very young, they’ll “correct” by the fifth year), they sit there calculating something, then the boys will write off everything from them : )) Eh, youth. . . But city views are better now!! !
Let's take another break. If anyone is not tired yet, then to be continued))
