The hotel was built almost 40 years ago for the Olympics-80 to receive foreign guests and had an international status. What they turned her into now - I want to hug and cry. The number of rooms is so old that you can see the reluctance of the owners to invest in it! Yes, I was in the standard, maybe it’s better in the suite, but understand, it’s the “standards” who write the reviews for you - the suites will not write reviews, they are fine anyway! In short: people-robots are service personnel, and everywhere, be it a receptionist, a security guard, a cleaning lady - they don’t know how to communicate and don’t smile! They didn’t even give shameful disposable slippers, but cotton pads, sticks and a shower cap for a fee! Broken tiles in the bathroom, a bandaged shower handle to prevent leakage, the drain button does not work in the toilet (and this is important! ), the door is on one hinge, which goes back and forth from a draft, a wardrobe that opens only 1 /3, the wooden boxes are so old that it seems to me that my grandmother had newer ones in her time, a limited choice of dishes for breakfast! Just pure horror! Invest, finally, return the building to its former glory, Founders!! !.

I would like to express my gratitude for the pleasant stay at the hotel. The hotel is very cozy and comfortable. The breakfasts are very tasty and varied. We are pleased with the presence of strict security, a metal detector frame at the entrance, it is clear that the concern for the safety of guests is at a high level! I especially liked the cleanliness of the room and the whiteness and freshness of the bed linen.

Thanks for the hospitality. Maybe the only thing missing was water in the room. But we bought a large bottle of "Shishkin Les" for 5 liters, and we had enough. Good luck!

The hotel was chosen because of its convenient location in the Ostankino district near the metro station and because of the cheapness of the room (1800 rubles per person with breakfast). That is, the price for a standard room and the availability of breakfast are pleasing, it is convenient to get to any corner of the city.

The hotel was chosen because of its convenient location in the Ostankino district near the metro station and because of the cheapness of the room (1800 rubles per person with breakfast). That is, the price for a standard room and the availability of breakfast are pleasing, it is convenient to get to any corner of the city. However, the hotel also has its downsides.
Finding the main entrance and reception was not so easy, but that's not the point. Here they themselves are to blame: it was necessary to go up the main road - to the second floor, and not to escape from the rain below under the flyover. However, you can also go up to the reception from below, bypassing the left-luggage offices. The room was booked in advance, check-in from 14:00, but they met us halfway and settled at 9:30 in the morning at no extra charge. Such loyalty to the guests, reflected by the corresponding phrases on the official website, finally tip the scales when choosing a hotel. At the reception, they even asked where to give us a room - higher or lower. I don’t like the upper tower, so I chose not the 17th, but the 4th floor. I was glad of this when I found out that the elevators are "thoughtful" and, most likely, old, although spacious. Electronic key cards work well, but I didn’t really like the fact that you have to carry a guest card with you for security. In the evening, I had to present it, digging it out in a bag.
The room turned out to be small, but cozy, clean, with almost new furniture and full-wall glazing. Beautiful colorful bedspreads and curtains, comfortable beds, a little worn carpeting on the floor, an average scall TV (not flat), a refrigerator built into the nightstand, a comfortable table, bedside table, armchair, a couple of chairs... There is a bath with a curtain in a rather spacious bathroom. In the presence of towels (3 pieces per nose), a piece of solid soap, samplers with shampoo and gel, toilet paper. I was disappointed by the lack of a hair dryer with so many stars.
When checking in, the workers warned that breakfast would be on the 1st floor in the Kalinka cafe. In the morning, when they reached it, they found the door closed. The announcement was sent to the restaurant "Galileo" (I think). I had to go to the guards and ask them to explain how to get to him. On the second floor, having shown the guest's cards, they went into the hall, and then the game "find the item you need" began. Either the hotel always serves breakfast this way, or it was a force majeure. . . but the logistics of placing plates, forks, spoons, knives and cups with saucers defied any comprehension. Tables with food were laid out in a square, "solid" food was interrupted by desserts, forks and knives were placed separately near some column, I did not find a saucer for a cup, although I made three circles. The assortment was quite varied (cuts, omelettes, sausages, vegetables, many types of fruit, a couple of types of pastries), although I have seen tables much better and richer. And I didn’t find coffee with milk, they offered only Americano and Expresso.
However, I think that for such a low cost for Moscow, the hotel and breakfast fully justify themselves. It does not pull on 4 stars, but you can live. The building sparkles beautifully in the evening, there is a public garden opposite, you can see the Ostankino tower. . . The only bad thing is that there is no grocery store in the immediate vicinity.

I have stayed at this hotel before but this time I was pleasantly surprised! The hotel has changed so much over the years! The room is spacious and well refurbished. The breakfast was also good - varied and tasty. I took a subscription at the reception to the pool and in the evening after work I swam for pleasure. There were practically no people, which for me was another plus! Special thanks to the staff for their timely assistance and services. I also want to say thanks to the girls from the reservation department, who helped me decide and book a hotel room! (tel. 84995530638) Of course, the price is quite high during the exhibition period, but if you want to relax in a hotel located near the metro and with comfort, then this is Cosmos!

Worse hotels have not met! The front desk staff talk like they are doing you a favor. The rooms are expensive, and at the same time dirty, smelly, smoky (although they asked for a non-smoking room). The lobby is full of prostitutes and the security does not respond to them (takes money from them). Things and money disappear from the room, and the security guard says that they themselves have gone somewhere (in collusion with those who steal).

The most disgusting hotel in my entire travel history (10 years! ). Don't waste your money on this crap!!! ! He's not worth it!!! !

I really regret the wasted time and money. For this money it was possible to relax in another hotel, much better. The rooms are old. bedding, towels are old, air conditioning does not work. The trip was businesslike, I needed to concentrate, gather my thoughts, but the constant noise in the corridor did not allow me to do this.

Positive reviews about this hotel are written either to order, or by those who have not seen better. Thank you for your attention.
