We stayed at the hotel during a sightseeing tour from November 1 to November 3.2014 in a 2-bed standard room. Upon arrival, the room had a terrible smell of sewerage. We turned to the administrator, she promised that a maid would come to us, which we had to wait for more than 15 minutes and remind the administrator of our problem three times. The maid said it was a sewer blockage and she knows this is a multiple room problem. On our reasonable demand to provide us with another room, we were offered a room without amenities on the floor above. And it was also said that there is nothing to worry about, that we can take a shower in our room, and then go up to sleep in a room without amenities. If we refuse, the only thing that can be done is to air the room and drain the water, after which they guaranteed us that there would be no smell. Since the room was paid in advance by the company organizing the excursion tour for us, and there were no free rooms with deformities, we had to wait for the airing of the room and draining the water. Why, knowing that the room will be occupied, the maid did not prepare the room, we do not understand.
The room itself is small furniture new in principle clean. But the lighting in the room is very dim, two sconces and a floor lamp can not be read in the room after dark.
The price included a meager breakfast. Water for tea had to be poured from an electric samovar, which turned out to be almost room temperature. At our request to heat water for tea, the waitress brought a slightly warm electric kettle.
The hotel is in demand as there is no competition and unfortunately it is the only more or less decent hotel in the city.
