Saint Miklos Castle

Saint Miklos Castle is located in the eastern part of the village. It was built at the beginning of the 15th century. The rectangular two-story building is made in the Romanesque style. For three centuries the castle served as the residence of the Hungarian princes. After the loss of strategic importance, a warehouse was located here, and then a prison. In 2001, the castle building was rented by the artist Joseph Bartosz, who restored it. Today, art exhibitions and music concerts are often held here.

Very interesting castle with interesting legends.
Saint Miklos Castle is located in the village. Chenadievo. We visited it when we were on a tour of Transcarpathia. We have very fond memories of his visit. The almost destroyed and almost forgotten castle found a second life quite recently and was restored by the efforts of the artist Josef Bartosz. During a visit to the castle, we were told the legend of Ilona Zrinyi, who is considered the muse of these places - her portrait can be seen on one of the walls of the Saint Miklos castle. The dramatic story of her love inspired the owners to turn the ancient fortress into a venue for wedding ceremonies.→

An interesting castle
We came here for the first time by accident. But I did not miss a more interesting tour at that time. And despite the fact that almost all the equipment is modern. But what a love story! I am sure that many people still do not know about such a castle. I myself had no idea about him a couple of years ago. So there we are with you, in the 2010s, not even all the locals Chinadiyevo knew that they have a castle. Joseph Bartosz and put this castle on its feet. Now he is the head of the castle, the main inspirer and prior of the Order of St.→

A real pearl of Transcarpathia hid among the landfills !!
Incredible castle of St. Miklos in Chinadiyev! I was so impressed by this castle that I would like to sing many, many more ode to it. But, unfortunately, I can't dedicate all the reports to him! I am sure that many people still do not know about such a castle. I myself had no idea about him a couple of years ago. So there we are with you, in the 2010s, not even all the locals Chinadiyevo knew that they have a castle. Until 2001, there were garages at this place? and no one noticed that a real pearl of Transcarpathia was hidden among the landfills.→
