I am sure that many people still do not know about such a castle. I myself had no idea about him a couple of years ago. So there we are with you, in the 2010s, not even all the locals Chinadiyevo knew that they have a castle.
Until 2001, there were garages at this place? and no one noticed that a real pearl of Transcarpathia was hidden among the landfills. But Joseph Bartosz noticed and put this castle on its feet. Now he is the head of the castle, the main inspirer and prior of the Order of St. Nicholas. Unfortunately, the castle is not supported by the state. Rather, the sums that could be allocated for the repair, reconstruction and maintenance of the castle were very ridiculous and they are absolutely not enough.
Now the entrance to the castle and the tour conducted by Joseph himself are free for everyone.
And the castle is supported by volunteers, artists who exhibit their paintings in the castle and sometimes by Hungarian authorities.
If you look at old photos and look at the castle now, it seems that someone here is involved in magic. Joseph did an incredible job here with volunteers.
And as I walked through the rooms of the castle, a wave of resentment and sadness rolled over me for leaving such incredible places in the shadows, and at the same time a wave of pride and gratitude for having people like Joseph!
This castle is known in history thanks to Ilona Zrina. This is the only woman in history who was awarded a diploma of the Turkish sultan.

I don't know how much patience and skill it takes to make such details in pictures. And it's not painted, it's scratched. I would have done this with my paws for 15 years! =)
The castle not only preserves history, but also offers to create the future. Now in St. Miklos you can order a wedding service, a painting service and even a knightly ceremony. Joseph told us in secret what romantic declarations of love were made here.
