Deribasovskaya street is central in Odessa and probably the most interesting and impressive! )) We were in the summer last year and remained spellbound)) On Deribasovskaya there is a monument to 12 chairs, plus lions, there are still many shops, a beautiful alley with flowers, a park, a fountain, a market with souvenirs, ancient buildings and an incredible atmosphere of coziness and comfort)) Really, you want to come back to this city again and again)

How many times I was in Odessa, I always thought and did not find an answer (apparently, I was not interested enough) why the street is called that way. Who is Deribas? Or is it from the interrogative - where is Ribas? Maybe something from the sea? In general, the options were arbitrarily fantastic, but in fact, of course, the street was named after the man who founded this city, it was a shame not to know. Joseph de Ribas, whose monument stands at the intersection of this street and the Polish one.

Both with children and without children. Exclusively in company or in splendid isolation - be sure to come to Deribasovskaya Street. If you do not want to walk along it (which is impossible - after all, this is the heart of Odessa in its own juice), she will find you herself. One way or another, you will get to this paved pedestrian street, where life is buzzing like a swarm of bees. And honey here will be your pleasant memories. Ordinary and extraordinary cafes, street artists, musicians, magicians, dancers, ensembles and orchestras, Hare Krishnas, Cypriots, British and Chinese, souvenirs and restaurants - everything that your heart desires and whoever is possible and somehow harmoniously everything and everything is crowded here gets along with a friend.
