Making wine in Ukraine is a thankless task. The climate is not very suitable. I don’t know how Trubetskoy and Galitsyn managed to win a bunch of awards at the French wine festival in the old days. But now the best Ukrainian wines can only be compared with mediocre French ones. Another thing is vodka... In my opinion, the success of any excursion depends on 50% of the guide, another 40% on the mood, and only 10% on the object itself. So the tour guides at the winery are excellent. One charismatic one, which will tell you not so much about the wine and the process, but about the love affairs and fliers between Trubetskoy and Golitsyn.→
