It is one of the oldest Armenian buildings in the city. Built on the site of an earlier XI-XII centuries. Until 1811 it was called the Annunciation. In 1672, during the capture of the city by the Turks, it was destroyed. At the beginning of the XVIII century. restored. In the late XIX - early XX centuries. fortified with archbutans. Stone, single-nave, single-apse. The thickness of the walls is 1.5 m. The inner volume is covered with a box vault with four moldings and a conch with one molding in the apse.→
