This area is one of the dominants of Kazimierz, which was a separate city until the end of the 18th century. The town hall building is located on the square - now an ethnographic museum. The first town hall in this city was built in the 14th century, and the remains of a stone building from 1414 can still be seen in the basement and on the ground floor. When Kazimierz became part of Krakow, an industrial and craft school was opened here, and later the building was handed over to the city's Jewish community.→
