The Florian Gate in Krakow is a medieval gate located in the Old Town of Krakow at the end of Florianska Street. It is one of the eight defensive gates of Krakow. The solemn, monumental Florian's Gate is the only surviving gate in the defensive wall that once surrounded Krakow. Having lost its defensive significance in the 19th century, the gates were miraculously saved from the demolition of the fortifications and today delight visitors to the city, who came to the mighty walls of this legendary monument of Krakow.→
