Church of the Holy Trinity (Ko? Ci ? ? Dominikan? W? Wi? Tej Tr? Jcy), or Dominican Church - one of the largest Gothic basilicas in Krakow. The church belongs to the Dominican Order, which was founded in the early thirteenth century by St. Dominic and was very orthodox, enjoyed the trust of the Pope and held in his hands the Inquisition. The current church building on this site was preceded by a wooden church, also dedicated to the Holy Trinity. And after the Dominicans came to the city at the invitation of the Bishop of Cracow in 1222 (probably after that the authority of the bishop in the city grew due to the Inquisition), the history of the Church of the Holy Trinity began to develop much more dynamically.→
