We traveled to Marken Island by sea on a small ferry from Volendam. There was fog, and it seemed that there was no life further, but only the sea. But the island with the village turned out to be like from a children's designer. Neat streets, well-groomed houses, a sufficient number of channels and very expensive souvenirs. It was cool and we warmed ourselves with hot chocolate on the embankment. I like it. Back we were returning from the parking lot from the supermarket, along the dam. Many bought beer there, because the bus is nearby and there is a large selection.→
