In the center of the city, on the square near the remains of the old Roman road Via Domitia, which ran through Narbonne and connected Cadiz in Spain with Rome, there is a whole Episcopal Ensemble (I would call it that). It includes the Bishop's Palace, which now houses the city hall, consisting of a Romanesque old palace from the 13th century and a Gothic "new" palace from the 14th century, an anchor passage from the 19th century connecting them, two donjons, a museum of arts and history and the Cathedral of Saint Just .→
