When you cross the footbridge "Allé e du 18 Juin", be sure to look into the clear waters of the Sorgues. There, at the bottom of the river, there is a sculpture of an ear. The most common tourist version that this is Van Gogh's ear is, of course, original, but has nothing to do with reality. In fact, the ear is a gift from a Dutch sculptor who wanted to constantly hear the inspiring sound of Sorg. Therefore, the mayor's office decided to place his gift at the bottom of the river. Nearby, on a stone, the lines are carved: "Je repose ma tete sur une pierre et rince mon oreille dans la fleuve".→
