San Fermin is not only blood, adrenaline and wine, it is also carnivals, dances, processions of giant puppets, fireworks - in general, a holiday in the full sense of the word. When San Fermin passes, and it goes on for almost 9 July days, the streets of Pamplona turn red and white. White is the traditional festive color of the Spaniards, and the symbol of the festival is a red neckerchief or belt. San Fermin is famous primarily due to the encierro - running from 12 angry bulls. Of more than 216 hours of celebration, the encierro actually lasts about a quarter of an hour.→
