The triangular square got its name from the charcoal trade, which has been conducted here since the 14th century. Part of the coal was brought, and the other part was produced in furnaces directly on the square. The center of the square is now decorated with a fountain, erected in 1797 at the expense of patron Jacob Wimmer. In the center of the fountain is a sculptural group of works by the famous sculptor Františ ek Xaver Lederer. The sculptures are carved from siliceous gray sandstone. The square pool with a side of about 3 meters has a profiled wall with curved edges and rounded corners.→
