One of Prague's monuments to the famous twentieth-century writer Franz Kafza is located near his birthplace, between the Prague Jewish Museum and the Church of the Holy Spirit. At the end of the XIX century there was a gate between the Jewish Joseph's Quarter and Christian Prague. Gloomy mystical legends hovering around the Jewish ghetto have found an echo in the phantasmagoric world of Kafka's works, which in turn has been a source of inspiration for today's artists. The sculptural composition, created by Jaroslav Ré na in 2003, is often included in the top ten most unusual monuments in the world.→
