The Vienna Museum of Natural History is one of the largest exhibitions in Austria. The museum has been operating since 1889, it houses a huge collection of exhibits, which for several centuries was collected by representatives of the Habsburg dynasty. Emperor Franz I Stephen made a significant contribution to its increase - he bought a huge collection of about 30.000 natural artifacts. Among them were rare minerals and precious stones, unique species of shells and snails, corals and more. As the years went by, the collection grew, and it became crowded within the halls of the Habsburg Palace.→
