The city of Jermuk itself and all its glory is closely connected with the famous mineral springs, which are located on the slopes of the Vardenis Range. This area has been a water-mineral and air resort for many centuries. The mineral springs of Jermuk gained fame in ancient times. This is evidenced by the traces of ancient baths and pools preserved near some sources. Scientists, having analyzed the properties of the Jermuk springs, gave them a well-deserved high assessment and made sure that the chemical composition of the local water is very similar to the famous waters of Karlovy Vary.→
