Beware swindlers!
My wife and I traveled to Southeast Asia - China (Beijing), Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur), Cambodia (Phnom Penh) and Thailand (Bangkok). About the trip itself - a separate conversation. I want to warn everyone about the following: on the last day of my stay in Kuala Lumpur, my wallet was stolen. It happened like this: my wife and I rode the subway from the hotel to the towers. There were few people in the car. We were standing near the front door of the car. A guy was standing next to him. When we arrived at our stop, for some reason the doors did not open. And we rushed to the next door, into which people had already begun to enter. At the same time, this guy pokes his finger at us that we need to go through that door. I write this for a long time, and there everything is fast - seconds. In short, we jumped out of the car, and went to the shopping center. Only when my wife chose new clothes for herself, I put my hand in my trouser pocket for a purse and. . . as they say in bad novels - everything inside me turned cold. There was no wallet in my pocket. I had to apologize to the seller who did not understand anything, and begin to explain to my wife. I won’t describe for a long time - in general, I mentally recreated the situation. The Malay crooks did the following - one blocked the door of the car (apparently imperceptibly inserted the blocker into the slot), that is, they created an unusual situation - the door does not open - a slight panic. And the second guy, who was rubbing near us, and poked his finger - they say, run through that door, at the same time, with his other hand, pulled out my wallet from the front pocket of my summer trousers. I was only glad that they got 600 ringit (about 200 US dollars) and a timely blocked bank card - a piece of plastic that they can alternately insert into each other in different places. This is how "friendly" Malaysia turned out.
