The first thing that struck me was the amazing attitude of all the staff, from the usual maid to the front desk. Everyone is so friendly and attentive that they buy with their attitude once completely and irrevocably. We were greeted like relatives, there was an impression that we were at home here, such a cozy and pleasant atmosphere was preserved until the very departure. The hotel was recently refurbished, at least we had a nice big room overlooking the beach. We had a room in the first building, we asked for it on the first floor, paid a little extra for a great view, and did not regret it. When booking, you cannot choose a room, all are the same, but you can agree on the best option on the spot. Everything is formalized and even checks are issued, so there is no rip-off. The room was made simply, but tastefully, a new plasma TV, a bathroom after renovation, a tile floor, so we walked only in slippers. There is no toothpaste and brushes either, but the main set of soaps, shampoos, shower gels were brought and replenished constantly. Of course, they didn’t expect much glamor from the hotel, but everything is there, the mini-bar was even replenished periodically, the bedding was changed several times, and the towels in the room every day, and the cleaning is excellent. And the beach near the hotel is of incredible beauty, the color and purity of the water cannot be described in words, gently turquoise blue, the sand is dense, it is very comfortable to walk on it barefoot. There are not many sun loungers at the hotel, but in the morning and late in the evening it is easier to find a free one. I don’t really like to sunbathe during the day, I burn very quickly, so the hours in the morning and in the evening were even too much for me. It is also a very beautiful green area, iguanas walk, birds sing, you live like in wildlife, very beautiful. There is a pool, but how can you swim in it when there is such a sea at your side... You can also use the restaurants and the territory of the neighboring Maya Caribe hotel, we often swam on its beach and ate at the restaurant. The food is great. A very tasty grill was prepared daily, both fish and meat, especially steaks. A lot of fruits, all very tasty, there were even elite varieties of cheese sanctioned jamon))). In addition to this variety, standard omelettes, delicious waffles and light soups are just lovely. A bus runs throughout the spit, you can ride directly from the hotel, only $ 1. Of the places that are definitely worth a visit, I advise the Xcaret eco-theme park, the beauty that words cannot describe, Chichen Itza is a must for those who love historical places, and of course Coco bongo, this is a disco that amazes with its colorfulness and scope! During the day, the hotel also has animation, and in the evenings there is live music, so even if you don’t go on excursions, the hotel will also have a pleasant light rest. I highly recommend both the country and the hotel itself, it was an unforgettable stay!

Old rooms with a rotten smell and moisture, air conditioning does not always work. It is located opposite the ship's port, the water is covered with a gasoline film, it is impossible to swim. There is no food - the choice is minimal, the quality leaves much to be desired. The working staff is absolutely indifferent to everything and everyone - they refused to bring water to the room for a person who was poisoned in their own hotel.
