First time in the Maldives. Holidays at the Club Faru hotel left the most wonderful memories. The island is very well maintained and clean, extremely friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are, of course, furnished in a spartan style, but everything you need is there. Believe me, you will spend a minimum of time in the room, and you will simply not notice the shortcomings that exist (furniture and plumbing are not new).
We went during the so-called rainy season (from May to November). It rained 4 times: 1 time during the day and 3 times at night for 15 minutes, no more. This is a real tropical downpour, it starts very abruptly and ends just as abruptly. Don't worry, it won't be rainy there.
Be sure to bring fins, masks and snorkels with you. Near the island itself, the fish is not teeming, but there is something to see, especially on the other side of the island, which is opposite the reception and overlooks the airport by the coast. There grow corals and fish more. Twice a day, on a local motor boat, they take fish to the neighboring islands for free to gawk. A free tour of the capital Male is provided. Although they say that there is nothing special to see there, we still went to clear our conscience. Nothing like that, you can take a look. It's funny how they are. The Maldivians on their scooters resemble ants, especially since they are fragile, swarthy and small.

So, back to the island. They feed with a bang. The variety of dishes, of course, is not so huge, but there is always a choice of meat, fish, side dishes, salads, desserts and other things. The food is delicious and the food is always fresh and of good quality. Two bars are open from 10 am to midnight. The local beer is good, by the way. Much better than in Turkey. In the Maldives, it clearly contains degrees. And I also advise you to try the table wine. Whiskey and rum are not a fountain. But this is an amateur.
The beaches are clean and there are plenty of sun loungers. You can hardly see the people; Sometimes you even get the feeling that you are the only one on the island. Small fish are splashing near the shore, stingrays are swimming. There is only one drawback - when the wind blows harder, a lot of algae nails to the shore. But the natives quickly and carefully clean them.
I advise you to take a stronger knife with you to open coconuts. A very fun activity! There they lie underfoot. You can also ask the natives to crack a nut. They are a small business. 1 coconut - 1 dollar.
The island has a water sports center. You can ride anything your heart desires: kayaks, water skiing, canoes, windsurfing, paralyzing (parachutes), a banana... There is also a spa center, Thai girls will offer you 5 types of massage from $53 to $84.
Be sure to take sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30, Panthenol foam from burns and BF glue with you (patches do not stick). The sun is very tricky. But the climate is amazing. Golden mean. No suffocating heat. Yes, more mosquito repellent if you want to sleep with the windows open and listen to the ocean surf.
And do not believe the nasty things that they write about Club Faru. Very comfortable and decent economy class hotel. For such modest money by Maldivian standards, this is the best choice!
