Just got back from the island. Pleasant impressions are innumerable. Maldives is great! And if not for two negative points, the hotel could be put five points. The first thing that was very unpleasant was that we were placed in a surfers' house. This house is absolutely not designed for a comfortable stay corresponding to four stars. The numbers of these houses start with 210. We were able to move to the beach villa only after a duel with the hotel manager. We literally vomited with blood what we had already paid for. I communicated with the hotel staff only in English. If you do not know English, then you are doomed…… All our compatriots who came with us from the Capital tour were awarded the same fate. Capital tour does not have a representative in the hotel, i. е. there was no one to solve our problems. I note that from other tour operators (Travel) there was our representative, and all tourists were immediately placed in beautiful and comfortable bungalows. The second thing that I didn’t really like is that it’s very, very shallow near the shore. Therefore, having our own beach with a very beautiful view of the ocean, we were forced to go swimming either in the pits or on the pier.
The food at the hotel is varied and tasty. And don't believe those who say otherwise. The nature is very beautiful, the ocean is amazing! We went on evening fishing trips, went for massages, traveled to Male, and even flew in a seaplane. All very, very much.
Take flashlights with you, watch the crabs and marine life, and do not forget a screwdriver and a knife to open coconuts. In general, I want to return to the Maldives for sure!
