And now, the day of X. Flight by direct flight, Transaero. I wanted to try Emirates, but nothing, better cheaper and without landing. Let's try another time. It's hard to fly, especially towards the end everything gets numb. When I remember, I'm so thrilled. Service Transaero leaves much to be desired. On such a long flight, they could have been more kind. Arrived. We leave the airport - the pier. First time like this. We were met by a friend in a yellow T-shirt with a sign TEZ TOUR, and we were taken to the boat. There were a lot of people in this hotel. Fortunately, it is not long to go - only 15 minutes from the island-airport.
What to say about the hotel. Small, small pool, only one restaurant. The island itself is very small, and the large dominance of Russian fellow citizens, I confess, was somewhat annoying. A comrade in a yellow TEZ TOUR was constantly joking around, he was popular with local Russians - they constantly asked him. Why it is also needed, I also understood - the service at the hotel is Sri Lankan, so the representative of the tour operator worked as an accelerator and problem solver. What is Sri Lankan management, we understood quickly. They are local here, sorry, we are not snobs, but still, they are stupid. They don't want to work. And if they do, it won't be fast. They don't want to solve problems. There are many of them, but there is little sense from them all. At first it was annoying, then we scored. Anyway, we came to rest. The rooms here are all water villas. This also tempted me when choosing a hotel. I have wanted to live in this for a long time. Veranda with a small pool - but why is it needed if the sea is nearby? It's bad that there is no descent into the sea from the veranda! The internet in the room was wired, there was no wireless. The room is in Japanese style or something, I liked it. Large bed for honeymooners. The safe is free which is good. You can make tea, Nescafe coffee in the room. Free mineral water.
After a couple of days, I confess, we scored on everything, and enjoyed the rest and the Maldives. There are gorgeous sunsets here! There is a special sunset bar where we came in the evening to have a cocktail before dinner and watch the sunset. In the Maldives - I'll tell you what - you begin to learn to relax and enjoy doing nothing. We were offered, literally imposed some kind of walks, fishing - but what the hell! Why rush somewhere if you can not do it? Complete relaxation. For such a miracle as the Maldives, I was even ready to forgive all the shortcomings of this hotel and service. So, Maldives - yes !!! ! This hotel is a no-brainer!
