Hotel New Dolmen 4 * in my opinion one of the best hotels in Malta (among those we have seen). Excellent European 4*. I advise you to take only breakfasts, because dinners and lunches, according to reviews, are very monotonous. In addition, there are many restaurants near the hotel, of various kinds, there is even a McDonald's. Eating for two costs up to 20 Euros (although of course who eats how), the portions are such that taking one, you can eat two to satiety. You can, for starters, just watch what portions they bring - and then decide for yourself. This hotel has its own beach - which is almost unique for Malta, sunbeds and umbrellas are free. Entrance to the sea - as in the pool, down the stairs, and immediately deep. So those who can not swim - it will be bad. The hotel has everything you need - air conditioning, hair dryer, etc. paraphernalia, everything is in good and working condition, clean and tidy. Near the hotel there is a bus station, buses run frequently and anywhere in Malta. Each bus is very interesting, we definitely don’t have such ones. We traveled all over Malta on buses, it is very interesting, and besides, it is cheap. The distances there are not large, the longest crossing is 40 km.
