Greetings to everyone who is just going and has already seen Malta on the map.
I will be brief, because words cannot describe everything, and if it does, it will simply take a lot of time. I read the comments of the rest - I put 4+, if you do not take into account the negative reviews. Believe me friends - it doesn’t happen that everything is 10+, we are all people, and we pay exactly as much for our vacation - how much it costs.
I was in Malta that year, just at the end of August, what impressed me the most was the attitude of the staff to visitors.

My wife and I lived on the first floor, which, as already mentioned in previous comments, turns out to be the second (this is due to the fact that the hotel itself is located on a hill, and consists of two parts, one is garages, and above are rooms, and the second one turns out immediately to the floor above, starting from the reception, already in relation to the first one it turns out to the floor above) - so here you can really get a little confused at first, but these are pleasant little things.
As soon as we entered the room - of course, everything pleased, but as soon as I tried to get out onto the balcony, like a heavy smoker who saw an ashtray and an armchair on the balcony, I realized that this was not easy for me to do.
History 1.
We had a broken clasp on the window. And before our arrival it was simply closed. Considering that my knowledge of English, well, let's say - wished for the best, I collected all my knowledge (which I drew most from the Internet and a computer), tried to explain....for about 5 minutes they understood me. Thank God the window was opened, and I rushed. Smoked. By the way, who is going to Malta - PENALTY for smoking in the wrong place - 900 euros. So I didn't joke about it. Although I can reassure you at every stop, there are smoking bins near the shops - there are a lot of them, so I always found a place to smoke.
History 2.
The window was opened, but the clasp remained broken. And given the fact that our balcony was right next to the descent to the sea, and climbing it was not difficult - we found the only way to close it when we were absent during the day - twisting the chain with a teaspoon to stretch - it worked, but what's the catch. While we were away, and the room was cleaned during the day - they still took out this spoon every single day and returned it to its place - on the table near the teapot. By the way, I liked the kettle, but the coffee that they have for free - NO, by the way it was Nescafe. But I, as a prepared person, brought my own, and what’s interesting is also Nescafe, though Alta Rico - whoever hasn’t tried it - I recommend it - you should appreciate it.
What else did I like
We found a cafe - At the Friend, there is a lot of Russian-speaking people there. Then we learned a lot of ours (both Ukrainian and Russian girls got married there, plus there is an English language study program, and on the beach right next to our boarding house there are always crowds of our students).

So - At the Friend - the owner is a Russian woman. and the waiter (there was a boy Sergei) is also Russian. Here I relaxed and did not strain my convolutions remembering English words.
The local dish - RABBIT - not that I didn't like it at all, I probably just didn't see something special in it, and so - offset - but the sauce under which it was cooked - for all 5+++ - full credit.
We went on excursions around Malta and its islands. We didn’t hit the barracudas - it was stormy, and we were lucky, because those who did go came green and lethargic, but they fed the fish in the sea to the fullest.
Story 3
For one excursion we gathered - also in Malta - on a catamaran, this is the one that is flat, and one sail - in short, it can accommodate up to 30-40 people - but only everyone is sitting on the floor. We are out and waiting. By the time it's time to pick us up, we approach the girls at the reception, it turns out he came and looked, and went - he just forgot to ask us, or the girls - he was probably in a hurry. Well, in short - we are FORGOTTEN. But I can say the girls immediately organized another trip for us - FOR FREE, they just got to the city by bus, a good excursion, and plus they added us to another one - a cruise around Malta, for which tickets were no longer sold and made a small discount - as compensation. I want to say - I liked everything.
Nothing to regret.
On the contrary, there are a lot of impressions and only positive ones, despite all the pleasant little things that happened to us.
