I am writing this review from the comfort of my Hilton hotel room. I am writing specifically for Russian tourists, as the rest of this hotel is probably well known. I'll start with the cons - for those who like to bask on the seashore on the sand - there is nothing to do here, the hotel does not have a beach. To reach the sea, you need to leave the hotel and go down the street to the sea. There are no private beaches in Malta, all beaches are public. The exception is the Radisson Hotel in Golden Bay, and even then the hotel owns only a tiny piece, the rest of the beach is shared. The coast is rocky, the entrance to the water is along a ladder with handrails, I would not recommend it for small children. Second. - a hotel for middle-aged Englishmen, prim, with traditions, there are practically no children, very quiet and calm. There is nothing to do here without knowledge of English, there is a girl Christina at the reception, she speaks Russian, but she does not work every day. In the city, in cafes, restaurants, shops, no one speaks Russian. Thirdly, breakfasts at the hotel after three days start to get really boring. No monotony - a typical English breakfast - eggs in all forms, oatmeal, cheeses, ham, bacon, yogurts, fruits. Every day the assortment is the same, really annoying. Fourth, the prices for lunches and dinners both at the hotel and in the city are not cheap. Well, if you do not eat only pizza and hamburgers. The view of the vaunted lagoon with yachts from the hotel is far from everywhere, and it’s good. The territory of the hotel is small, like the island itself. For two weeks, they sifted through the entire island up and down.
Now pluses - in our opinion. The hotel is very calm, the rooms are cozy, we had a junior suite - almost three-room, two TVs, dvd, irons, hair dryers, etc. They clean well and cleanly, but we didn’t pay much attention, there are few European sockets, take adapters. The second is the center of St. Julian's with shops, restaurants nearby, a place where youth discos gather, in the evenings there are a lot of young people. In the hotel itself, in addition to classic restaurants, there is a very good Thai - Blue Elephant, but you need to reserve. Third - a very soft and gentle sun, for two weeks we never got burned, although we were in the sun for four hours, we practically did not use tanning products. Well, the fourth. - there is something to see - architecture and history of Malta and Gozo - very interesting.
PS. Especially for men. Take fishing rods with you if you love fishing. Mine bought a fishing rod here. - it doesn’t leave the sea, different fish are caught, and I feel good - my husband is at work, and I sunbathe.

Conclusion - after the hotels of the Dominican Republic, Bali and Thailand - Malta, of course, is completely different, but for lovers of a quiet European holiday, a good class Hilton hotel. - that's it.
