The second is the center of St. Julian's with shops, restaurants nearby, a place where youth discos gather, in the evenings there are a lot of young people. In the hotel itself, in addition to classic restaurants, there is a very good Thai - Blue Elephant, but you need to reserve. Third - a very soft and gentle sun, for two weeks we never got burned, although we were in the sun for four hours, we practically did not use tanning products. Well, the fourth. - there is something to see - architecture and history of Malta and Gozo - very interesting.
PS. Especially for men. Take fishing rods with you if you love fishing. Mine bought a fishing rod here. - it doesn’t leave the sea, different fish are caught, and I feel good - my husband is at work, and I sunbathe.
Conclusion - after the hotels of the Dominican Republic, Bali and Thailand - Malta, of course, is completely different, but for lovers of a quiet European holiday, a good class Hilton hotel. - that's it.
There is no private beach. Before going to the sea - very littered - a sign, where it is written in black and white that swimming in the sea is at your own peril and risk.
The sea is very clean. But on the rocks there is rubbish, feces and condoms....
If the room has a sea view, then this is ideal.

I really liked the Monte Cristo restaurant in the underground wine cellars (quite far from the Hilton), but it was very impressive.
Before the trip, I studied the clubs of Malta, most of them are located in the same area. In fact, there are different ones for every musical taste. Maltese men are happy to get acquainted, but in themselves they do not arouse interest : )
In some clubs I felt like a high school student, because some nightclubs are more like a school disco.
In general, Malta has not touched my heart and I will come there only for business purposes. This is a place for British pensioners, where they enjoy themselves.

An hour after being placed in the hotel room, I discovered the loss of 300 € from my luggage (by the way, the luggage room was defiantly locked with a key in front of me - supposedly for the safety of this very luggage). I immediately informed the administration of the HILTON MALTA 5 * hotel about the loss of money. But only after 4 hours I was offered to call the police. This indicates the complete lack of professionalism of the hotel's own security service, and also that such cases are not uncommon and are common. I didn't even get an apology. I have never been robbed in any hotel in the world!!!
But even that is not all! In the hotel room there was an advertising brochure where HILTON MALTA 5 * is called the hotel of the 21st century. I have something to compare. 4 * - the ultimate dream of this hotel.
1. There is no safe access to the sea, no flooring on sharp and slippery stones. The exits to the sea are blocked, and the stones outside the hotel fence are littered with broken glass and other debris. Those. it is possible to swim only in the pools (moreover, the days of 2 of them are lined with very slippery tiles, not corrugated). Around the pools you can see jars, glasses, straws that are not cleaned for several days.
2. The maid allows herself to pick up towels from the floor for 2-3 days and lay them out for further use. Bed linen changed 3 times in 2 weeks. In a room for 2 people, toiletries for one were constantly laid out (cheap savings).
3. Out of ≈.30 TV channels, there is not one in Russian. As well as the lack of headphones (translation) in all tourist sites during an individual visit.
4. The hotel constantly receives guests of various conferences and symposiums, I think these people are happy, because they are here only in the morning and in the evening and they live in the hotel on the company's money, and not on their own. When you pay your considerable money for staying at the HILTON MALTA 5 * hotel, you look at the service (or rather its absence) with different eyes.
By the way, nearby is The Westin Dragonara Resort 5 *, which has wonderfully equipped its coastline with safe approaches to the sea, steps with handrails and a shower.
I am very sorry, having made the wrong choice in favor of HILTON MALTA 5 *, draw conclusions from my mistakes and do not forget about theft in this hotel!!!
By the way, the Solvex travel agency (Solvex Travel) in its catalogs presents the HILTON MALTA 5 * hotel, with its own beach - do not believe it. Sand is poured near one of the pools.
