We chose between Sicily, Ibiza, Mallorca and Malta.
Thank God they did not choose the second and third! Just on August 21-28, fires raged there!
Malta is a beautiful country. First, I remembered the far forgotten English language. Secondly, the country is small and cozy. Third. . . I'm in a great mood. . . always!
1969 hotel. Both the furniture and the bathroom are a rarity. It looks like nothing has changed in 40 years! Worn and old. But I liked the design of the room!
Very strange sockets (probably so that the kids do not climb with their fingers) you can’t insert anything into it without a key. So if you need to recharge your camera or phone - choose to watch TV or recharge your equipment: there is only one socket!
Strange lock system at the balcony door. When you enter the room for the first time, call the maid. She will clearly explain to you how to open the balcony door. It's complicated.

I will warn you: REMOVING disgusting! Towels for our entire week in Malta were not changed even once. When cleaning, she wipes only the floor and takes out the trash! linen is also not changed. But I'm not pretentious.
Unusual shower - the faucet sticks out of the wall. Don't turn on the shower right away. When I washed there for the first time, I did not expect that I would be doused with cold water at once. Jet under pressure. AND TIP: wait two or three seconds until rusty water drains from the tap!
The beach is tiny and sandy. Take sunbeds at 6-7 in the morning. Lovely beach. The water is clean, calm. The sand goes smoothly (there are no sand drops under water). Excellent infrastructure. Gardens, parks, flower gardens, 5 swimming pools (one indoor - closed). The smell of incredible colorful hibiscus hits the nose. . .
The best rooms are under the letter A (we lived in A43 - the coolest room, ask for it), and our friend in A 130 (also beautiful). Building A is the best!
Every evening animation. On the first day, the Beatles played the boy band - everyone danced. For that, then for the whole week every evening there was animation only for the little ones. And, of course, we didn't go. Clap-clap, top-top is not interesting...
The food is monotonous. If I put 10 for food at the hotel in Tunisia Thalassa Sousse, then here I put 3! Every morning is the same. So buy yourself not only breakfasts, but also dinners. By the end of the week, I was already sick of breakfast. Dinner is basically the same. And the most stupid - local wines are paid. Although I've never seen it!
CAREFULLY! This hotel gives a cruise on the lagoons to all tourists from Moscow. You can't take it. It's free - give up. I felt "free cheese only in mousetraps", so I refused tickets. Firstly, before this ship, you still have to drive half the country, to Sliema. Secondly, there are 500 people on the ship itself! Thirdly, there are no stops, it is very slow and cradles everyone. And on this ship there is no swimming stop in the blue lagoon, in Comino!

Near the beach there is a yellow stand on the shore. The same trip, only on a small boat costs 11 euros per person - but you are taken to the blue lagoon directly from the hotel, it is fast, with stops, with a 3-hour swim in Comino. Wonderful!
