I want to leave a review about the rest in Petrovac, in the Palace Hotel 4 *, July 2012. I hope that it will be useful to those who are now making a choice.
1. Impressions about the hotel.
The hotel is excellent, luxuriously furnished, everything sparkles, the furniture is new, the rooms are quite spacious, comfortable, the bathroom was just super! Towels are changed every day, cleaning every day. We had a sea view room - amazing! Very nice balcony with a table and chairs with a great view! ! The staff is very friendly. The territory of the hotel is well-groomed, beautiful garden, excellent swimming pool, bar and hammocks by the pool, table tennis. We had breakfast and dinner. The food was tasty and plentiful. For breakfast, it was usually the same thing: scrambled eggs, cheese and cold cuts, vegetables, several types of sausages, hard-boiled eggs, several types of yogurt, milk, several types of muesli, water, juice, tea, coffee - everything is as it should be, in a word. For dinner, something new every time, everything is very tasty, varied and plentiful - and different types of meat, and salads with mayonnaise, and fresh vegetable salads, and potatoes cooked in different ways, pizza, rice, and pancakes, and cakes , and wine, white or red, and fruits - in a word, excellent, it's simply impossible to list everything !! ! drinks at the bar are paid, for example, tea cost 1.5 euros, cappuccino, it seems 2 euros. There is Wi-Fi at the reception, on the terrace and in the bar.

The hotel is on the first line, right on the embankment, in front of the hotel there is already a beach.
2. Beach.
The sea is very clean, warm and salty, very pleasant. The beach, which is near the hotel - with medium and small pebbles. If you go to the beach near the hotel, the cost of two sunbeds and an umbrella will be 5 euros. If you go to any other place, then the price will already be 8-10 euros (As for me, the prices are considerable for this). But if you are not a fan of coming to the beach at 7 am, then get ready for the fact that there will be no more free places. The situation with sun loungers and free places is the only thing that upset us a little on vacation. I thought we were the only ones who had this kind of sloppiness. For example, we bought ourselves a beach umbrella, and wanted to pay only for sunbeds (in the row where they stood without awnings anyway). It is forbidden! Pay them for everything or leave! Or in the evening we walked and wanted to sit near the sea, listen to the surf. Sit on the edge of the bed. Some kind of "beach caretaker" immediately ran up and said that they say you can't sit, "it's not allowed. " Again, people come at 7 in the morning, take their places and leave, they come much later. You go out at 9 - everything is busy with things, even though there are few people on the beach. There are a lot of people, there is nowhere for an apple to fall. So keep that in mind and leave early.
We went to another beach 7-10 min walk, called Lucici. It is wider and longer, and half of it is occupied by sunbeds for 10 euros, and the other half is free, you can put your umbrella there and spread your towel. There are a lot of cafes nearby with affordable prices, in the shade of trees, next to them are beautiful rocks and a forest. A very picturesque place. Lots of locals hang out there. But there are also a lot of people. The pebbles are small, there is a children's slide and an impromptu children's pool. A lot of people with small children rest there.
3. Excursions.

We went on a tour of the Bay of Kotor, bought on the embankment in Petrovac, the cost is 20 euros per person. A very good, interesting excursion, mainly on a ship with a stop in Herceg Novi, on an island with a church, on the beach (or to choose from a mini-excursion to the Blue Cave for another 3 euros), in the ancient city of Kotor. It lasts all day, from about 8 am to 8-9 pm. we ourselves also took a taxi to St. Stefan (taxi 10 euros one way). It is very beautiful there, a large beautiful park with beautiful views. Worth a visit!
4. I really liked the town itself, cozy, small, with many cute cafes and shops. Unlike our Crimean towns, it is well lit, it is absolutely not scary to walk there even at night. In general, until 12 at night, a stormy life is in full swing - live music in a cafe, musicians on the embankment. Then the music stops. We had a room overlooking the sea, that is, the embankment, and if you go to bed before 12 at night, then the music with the windows open will interfere with you (But in the morning we woke up to the sound of the surf). But if you close the window and turn on the air conditioner, then you are guaranteed peace.
Conclusion: we really liked everything, the place is excellent. If you have any questions, I'll be happy to answer. I'll try to post a photo in the next few days. We went with the operator Turtes. The organization is great.
