This room does not have air conditioning, or rather it works like a fan, drives hot air, but does not cool. I told the hostess of the hotel to download freon, but she shrugged her hands at any of our requests and did not understand us, she did not understand Russian or Ukrainian. For several years now, only tourists from Ukraine have been settled in the hotel, and she still does not understand her guests... But the sea was the cleanest, especially on Kamenevo beach, but cold, while we were there.
Apartment No. 3 consists of a living room, a bedroom, two bathrooms and a terrace.
In the living room there is a kitchen + a large sofa bed, bedside tables, an armchair and TV; 2 bathrooms with a shower sink and a toilet, though in one of them the shower did not work when we checked in, the administrator apologized for the inconvenience, explaining that it had broken the day before, in the bedroom there is a large double bed (it creaks quite strongly), a wardrobe and a dressing table. The highlight of the room is the terrace, this room is located on the second floor of the villa, because the hotel is located on a hill, the view is magical, you can see absolutely everything, and due to the second floor there is little sun on the terrace. Oh yes, there are many swallow nests on the terrace itself).
Wifi worked, there really are no shelves in the bathroom, the kitchen lacks a cutting board, a sharp knife and salt). Room cleaning for 7 days was 3-4 times, towels were changed every two days.
From pluses: the room is very cozy and spacious, we fell in love with it.
Cons: The double bed creaks, one shower was not working at the time of check-in.
The administrator's name is Tatyana, she more or less understands Russian, and they will explain how to understand her - it was not difficult for us. After checking in, she took us to the place where the transfer to the airport picks up everyone, opposite the stop there is Pekara (bakery), led us to the cafe from the Villa Grill Basta “Stefan”, suggested where the meeting with the guide would take place (for those who want to order an excursion from him). As for the cafe, those who order food for themselves eat there (there are special offers for guests, I am attaching a photo of the menu). We didn't, and were happy because we had a kitchen + it was interesting to eat in different places.
Regarding excursions, if you take it from a guide (who meets you at the airport), you need to attend a meeting with him and find out everything in detail, his prices for excursions are higher than on the waterfront, but insurance may be included in the price. . but that's my guess.
As I said earlier, there is a bus stop near the villa, it is not far from the villa to go both to Budva and to Sveti Stefan. Rafailovici, for me, is the best location for recreation, because it is quite quiet there. On the waterfront on the left (near Obala) there is a Mega market, an IDEA supermarket, a few more shops (including non-stop ones), and of course a pharmacy.
Nearby there is Kamenovo beach (to the left along the embankment and through the tunnel), to the right along the embankment you can go to Budva (-+60 minutes).
P. S. check out at the villa at 10:00, we were allowed to stay until 11 and leave things at the reception, keep this in mind when you take tickets back, because the transfer will have to wait,
1. Hotel "Boyana" with a good repair, but the rooms are different. Instead of the booked room 11, we were settled in room 17 and it was terrible! (Later it turned out that number 11 was larger, but very dark, because the window was hidden behind the walls and there was almost no light. ) The room was tiny, 9 meters, together with a bathroom - 12 meters, instead of the declared 16 meters. The window is also small. But the sloping ceiling overshadowed the stay in the room. This is darkness. The bed - on which it is impossible to sleep from the creak. One turns over - the second one wakes up and so on all night. But in fairness, I note that by the end of the holiday they got used to it and hardly noticed it.
2. A special topic is nutrition. We took breakfast and dinner and, it turned out, in vain. The owners of the villa have a cafe on the beach (rather, an eatery) and they offer to eat there. For breakfast - the same 2 eggs with a slice or ham, or bacon, or something else, plus half a tomato and half a cucumber and coffee. For dinner, I ordered tomato soup, and they brought . . oh horror... a handful of half-cooked rice, filled with tomato juice. On the second - shish kebab, which could not be chewed, fast food french fries and a salad of tomato and cucumber. Dessert was supposed to be a sweet pancake, which we never got, after waiting 30-40 minutes. The waiter constantly came and apologized for not being on time. And when I got tired of waiting, and I went to the kitchen, I saw that pancakes were being fried and sold to tourists standing in line, but they didn’t give a damn about us. You are second class and wait. This was the last straw and we refused food through the travel agency. After complaints and showdowns, the third time they cooked quite tasty, but it was too late. Arriving in Ukraine, they returned the money to us. Therefore - advice: do not take food, but buy it here, on the spot. Hotel "Ovala" - 5 euro breakfast (buffet, very tasty and a lot) and 5.5 euro dinner (more modest - on the menu). And then we found a cafe in the hotel, I don’t remember the name, where breakfast is 3.5 euros (buffet), but few vegetables and no fruits. And who does not bother - you can buy something in the store and eat at the villa.
3. For 14 days, bed linen was changed 1 time, towels (I would advise the owners to replace them with large ones) - often.
4. In general, I liked the rest, and Montenegro, where we were for the first time - too!
The only negative is the hotel guide Oleg, very strange and not serious, he can freeze and not pick up the phone. We clashed over trifles, but the guys are neighbors with him, kapets, how much they suffered. The holiday was a success, we got a lot of positive emotions!
And I would like to add that the hotel is located on a mountain and it is difficult for tourists with a sick heart, families with small children and people of the age to climb up in the heat. This must be taken into account when choosing a hotel.
We did not take food, we had breakfast at the Obala Hotel for 5 euros per person / buffet / and dinner there for 5.5 euros / menu /. But at Villa "Boyana" there is also food, but people say that it is not very tasty and rather poor.
2. Villa Boyana is officially located in Rafailovici. up the hill. . .
We had a 2-level room (No. 16), a good repair, everything worked. They cleaned (after a complaint) the norms, few towels (because there were 3 beach ones, not a problem).
3. The beach is sandy, the entry into the sea is small, rounded pebbles. The villa has its own section of the beach, there is also a cafe. the beginning of the season, but for us the sunbeds were free))))!! ! The embankment is not as beautiful as in Budva. . .
4. Shops - there are 2 minimarkets nearby (the choice is not very + expensive), the nearest supermarket is "Megamarket" in Becici (opposite the Splendid hotel - 20 minutes on foot), to the left of the entrance to the store there is a free grill.
In Budva, supermarkets are cheaper: Idea . Voli . Franca, there are discounts. The market is not cheaper.
5. Excursions: we took the sea on the beach along the Bay of Kotor (15 euros) - everything is fine, by the way, we immediately took a coupon for lunch for 5 euros - it’s really more expensive on the ship. We took canyons (35 euros) - I, unlike masses of reviews, not happy: if you don’t sit on the right side, you can’t see anything + if it’s a small (not a high bus). You drive for a long time, stop for a couple of minutes to take a picture, go again, etc.
On the Black Lake 1 hour. Who has been in the mountains (Carpathians, Crimea, Caucasus) and on the lakes, do not expect miracles....But the guide (Vitaly) is on top...
6. Trips: Budva 1 euro (By the way, now there is no passage along the beach from Budva to Becici-REMONT), St. Stefan 1, Petrovac 2, Bar 4 euros. divine service, on Sunday at 8-00. Unfortunately, I did not know the exact time and was late...
7. In the restaurant "Porat" they took the advertised (on the forums) lamb and grilled octopus - nothing special . . I would recommend "Meshane meat" - 600 grams of grilled platter...
There will be questions, I will try to answer
