I went to Morocco in 2009 and I want to say that the country is very interesting, especially for lovers of excursions and history. It's definitely worth going there, especially to Marrakech and Assaouira - these are ancient and beautiful cities, I'm not talking about Casablanca and Fez, everyone is simply obliged to visit there. However, I would like to warn the snow whites and lovers of a comfortable beach holiday in seven-star hotels: you have nothing to do there !! ! If you do not like the desert and the ocean, from which a cool wind blows, and are also afraid of the sun (and in Morocco it is cruel), then stay at home, this country is not for you! This country is for true tourists who crave adventure, new experiences and knowledge of different cultures.

Everything is here: ancient (pure) rituals and traditions, and peoples like the Berbers with their own identity and language, and beautiful oriental bazaars, and real Arabic flavor, and absolutely natural products, leather products, spices and much more. In addition, it is in Morocco that unique goats live that climb argan trees (this is a unique plant of the central Atlas, grows only there) and only here they produce specific argan oil and gray wine, you won’t buy it anywhere else! And for linguists, this is just a paradise, in Morocco there are as many as 3 languages, the Berber and Moroccan dialect of Arabic is especially interesting. Many also speak other languages: Spanish, German, etc. , there is an opportunity to practice.

Moreover, despite its Muslim orientation, this state is very tolerant of everyone. For lovers of entertainment, including those of a sexual nature, there is everything here, including non-traditional orientation. Locals can satisfy themselves right on the street or on the beach, but for tourists it is absolutely safe. But most of all I personally liked their prices. Morocco has its own currency, the Moroccan Dirham. In relation to the euro, it changes as ten to one. That is, for one euro they give about 10 dirhams. So, lunch in a restaurant costs 10-30 dirhams (that is, 1 - 3 euros), a phone card for international calls - from 5 dirhams, leather goods cost from 30 dirhams (for example, a belt 40 dirhams), shoes about 50 - 80 dirhams, a two-day trip to the Atlas with an overnight stay in one of the hotels-palaces of Marrakesh - about 850 dirhams, etc. And the food in stores and on the market is generally a penny. So fly to Morocco and enjoy the journey!
