It’s worth starting with the fact that in Morocco, apparently, the system for distributing stars to hotels is the same as in Turkey or Egypt. So don't be fooled by the admonitions of travel agents that this is allegedly the best hotel in Agadir, as well as colorful descriptions in booklets and proud 5 stars, and even deluxe. It is impossible to give this hotel 5 stars in any way, and in no way, be it the territory, quality of service, rooms or food.

Territory - it is practically non-existent, unlike other five-star hotels, the same Sofitel, for example. In front of the entrance to the hotel there is a large concrete parking lot and there is a dirty and tattered sofa.

There are also not enough towels for everyone, we saw with our own eyes how the used towels were folded and put to the unused ones, and then, without washing, they gave them to other guests.

Food - it makes no sense to spread it for a long time, suffice it to say that during our 10-day stay we were 3! ! ! times got sour orange juice for breakfast. Not only is it shamelessly diluted, so that it looks like a fanta in color and taste, it is also sour. In the best traditions, dinner is served with what is left from lunch, at least if it’s from today, and not from the day before yesterday.

Rooms - The hotel is built in the shape of the letter P. The rooms located on the inside of the "letter" have a frontal and side view of the ocean and the pool. But those that are on the outside, on the one hand, go to the construction site, and on the other, to the cluttered roof of the neighboring hotel, where, in addition, there is a bar in which music plays until at least 3 am.
Another very important point - even if you booked a room with an ocean view, it is not a fact that you will have this view, since rooms located on the -1 floor are classified as rooms with an ocean view, although apart from the lawn and sun loungers and the pool there I can not see anything. All rooms on the -1 floor are damp and constantly dark due to greenery or a fence. The air conditioner did not work for us at first, the technician was constantly called, but after his arrival nothing changed. On the third day, the air conditioner finally started working, but it just blew, and the air did not cool. Despite the fact that the hotel is quite new, the rooms are already pretty shabby, the furniture on the balcony is dried up, covered in divorces, ashtrays with chipped edges, plumbing is old, the drain in the bathroom did not work, the bed linen was with a hole. The promised slippers were not in the room, they were brought only on the 6th day after persistent requests, both pairs of size 37...

Service - Moroccan staff pretends not to understand English. In the restaurant, we never waited for teaspoons for breakfast, and drinks were brought only at the end of the meal. Moreover, you can’t take drinks yourself, after all, 5 stars, the waiter will bring. In one hour. Drinks at the bar are given only 1 glass each, the second is given reluctantly, and then they stop giving at all. That is, when you try to take a drink 3 times, they tell you that you are abusing all inclusive and refuse. All inclusive there by the way, until 11 o'clock, and not until 12 as in all normal hotels. After we ordered food to the room, no one cleaned the plates, as a result, we put them out the door. From there they were removed only by the evening of the next day.

As for the SPA, it’s a separate conversation in general - the prices there are far from low, but the service there leaves much to be desired, for example, they don’t even provide customers with disposable underwear.
When we wanted to buy a cream, they tried to give it to us without a package and even without a box! just took a test sample from the display case.

The only thing that did not cause any complaints was the cleaning of the room - it was carried out every day without delay.

The result is this - the hotel makes a very depressing impression and we do not recommend going there. It's a shame to pay that kind of money for a hotel that does not meet the stated level.
