Riga motifs
Riga.....I have wanted to see this city for a very long time, I don't even know what contributed to this desire. I spent only two hours in the city, but I still really liked it!
Good friends gave me a miniature tour, if not for them, I would not have seen a lot in such a short time! BIG THANK YOU to them!!!
The first thing that met me in the city was Katyusha standing alone on a bottle of vodka!
Then we walked around the old town, enjoying a cool May day, fresh flowers in every flower bed and quiet streets that keep secrets.
In the park near the center there is an Apsara tea house. . . I really wanted to go there and stay there! I especially liked the title as Cambodian Dance Goddesses.
Almost every house had advertising signs luring them to visit their establishment. A typical European town, but very sincere.
One of the main attractions of the city is the Church of St. Peter. You can climb its tower, but I didn't have time for that. Another attraction is the House of the Blackheads, sparkling in the sun.
And there is also a restaurant in Riga where everything inside is lit by candles (no lamps), themed music plays, meat is served on a spit... A very interesting place, but they say it is unreasonably expensive there.
Well, what is Riga without the Riga Balsam? ! There is one cozy place there, called the Black Magic Bar, where you can buy a balm, drink delicious coffee with sweets, admire the girls in traditional dresses. The place is very beautiful and also keeps secrets. For example, a bookcase, behind which is hidden a secret staircase to the basement.
And finally, we visited the Freedom Monument with brave soldiers!
I hope you enjoyed walking around Riga with me!
