Art Nouveau hotel
We stayed at the Europa Royale Riga 4 * hotel. It is about 500-600 meters to the old town. The hotel was opened in an Art Nouveau building built in 1876, in 1996 the building was reconstructed, while the architects did their best to preserve the original appearance of the building.
The hotel has only 60 rooms, the rooms are well decorated, all the furniture is wooden, handmade, each room has an individual heating / cooling system. The rooms are opened with a magnetic card.
The bathroom has underfloor heating, hair dryer, bathtub with glass partition for those who want to use the bathroom as a shower.
I was pleasantly surprised by the chic minibar for a good 30 types of drinks)))
Caring maids visited our room twice a day: the first time to change the bed and towels, the second time to spread the bed and put sweets on the edge of the blanket)))
Also, one of the pluses worth noting is a very plentiful breakfast, in addition to the standard for hotels omelets, sausages, bacon and cold cuts, there were always fruits, cheeses - 3-5 types of soft varieties and 5-7 hard ones and vegetables ))) Separately, it should be said about the hall where dinners are held - it is also gracefully decorated, it retains elements of the stucco ceiling, two halls smoothly flow into the bar with two huge stained-glass windows.
All hotel guests can use the sauna during their stay.
