Modest hotel with no frills. Well located - close to the historical center, bus and railway stations. The hotel building is clean and freshly painted. Friendly Russian speaking receptionist. We were settled immediately upon arrival at 10 am, for which special thanks to the receptionists, since we had already been on our feet for five hours, and we really wanted to take a nap for at least an hour and a half. Our room was small, attic - a window under the ceiling, but clean and it was pleasant to be in it, despite the shabby furniture. The room has a safe with a digital lock and a fan instead of air conditioning, it was written on the refrigerator that the use was "extra charge". But this did not bother us, because we stopped in Riga in transit for 20 hours. Unfortunately, I cannot rate the quality of the breakfast, since we left the "Irina" at 4 o'clock in the morning. In general, the hotel made a favorable impression, an excellent combination of price / quality. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again for two or three days.
Advice for those traveling to the airport: it is better to use the services of "Baltic taxi" because they have a fixed price "from / to" the airport - 10 lats (about 20 USD). The taxi called by the reception cost us 14 lats (correspondingly, about 28 USD).
