Hello, just returned from this hotel. We were in Sri Lanka for the first time, the hotel was recommended to us by a friend. The hotel and staff did not disappoint us. We liked everything very much. Excellent reception despite the fact that we arrived at the hotel late, we were met and fed a delicious dinner. Excellent, smiling staff, and hotel manager. We lived in room number 28. They offered an ocean view with an extra charge, but the view and the garden on site exceeded all expectations. There was no point in changing. We were very rarely in the room. There is everything you need in the room, cleaning, change of linen and towels daily. Taken with breakfast and dinner. The menu is very varied, both for breakfast and dinner. There is everything for an amateur, they serve: chicken, seafood, fish, there is a grill, there is a very wide variety of side dishes, always fresh salads, fruits, juices, delicious desserts. The hotel area is simply magnificent, a lot of birds, chipmunks, geckos, lizards, parrots, saw a peacock, monitor lizard and many other animals. Gorgeous garden overlooking the ocean. We went on excursions with Suren. A very good, honest, inquisitive, punctual and cheerful young man. We read a lot of reviews about him, so immediately upon arrival they contacted him. Speaks Russian and English. We went with him on a whale watching excursion on a yacht. We were in the ocean for about 5 hours and saw more than 20 whales. We highly recommend. On the way back, Suren brought us to Ayurveda, where they bought a lot of herbal medicines. They were in the temple in Galle, there were also two elephants called them: the girl Lasanta, and the boy Kalama. You can ride an elephant, it cost 1500 rupees. We looked at the temple, very beautiful with its history. We stopped by for shopping, tea, souvenirs, and the fruit market. The clothes there are not very good, but we bought a couple of T-shirts)) We went for lunch mainly to Tom's, this is a cafe on the beach on the left side. Very tasty cooks he took shrimp, crabs, squid, rice and salad attached. The beaches are very deserted, you can go to any beach, there are three of them. The ocean and sand are just amazing. We swam for hours, the water is very warm. At night, we swam in the pool of ocean water. There are two in the hotel. We went to the waterfall on the way to Nuwaraeliya. In general, we highly recommend this hotel and guide Suren to everyone. When we are going on vacation, we will only go to this hotel in this Paradise on earth.
