Hotel ratings by criteria:
This hotel does not deserve three stars! There is a lot of external tinsel, but in fact:
1. It is 1 meter from the main Sri Lankan road, the rooms themselves are 10 meters away - the noise of passing cars is the norm.
2. Swimming pool 1, not two, the second one is in Koggala Village. The water looks clean, but... it is very, very little chlorinated.
3. Air conditioners in the rooms - a peddler of infection (just look at the blocks
located outside - not cleaned for years) - as a result, the whole family, including 2 small children, came down with pneumonia.
I saw another family of ours - they have a similar situation, they no longer thought about rest, they only asked where they could buy antibiotics.
4. The food is disgusting, almost repetitive from day to day. No variety. Seafood other than fish is not allowed. But, a la carte lick you and find shrimp and lobster. Dishes are not washed well! There were poisonings during our stay there, believe me, more than one case!

5. All inclusive is a stupid convention. Every time you take something in a bar or in a dining room, you sign a piece of paper that you took something from such and such a room in such and such an amount. A wide variety of drinks is also missing. Local dark rum, whiskey, gin, vodka and beer (by the way, one moment the whiskey ran out and it was gone for several days), there is no white rum. Not alcohol: standard all sodas (fanta, cola, sprite), but there were no natural juices (I’m lying, only for breakfast sometimes woodapple and a mixture of tropical fruits). Juices are diluted chemsyrups, and even those in a limited form - paschenfruit and orange, and that's it - period !!!
6. Room cleaning is so-so, every day is different.
7 Towels are really changed every day, but not bed linen - on the strength of every three days. The sheets, by the way, are stained with rust - they wash disgustingly. Because handed over for washing the effect is similar - white things were all in rusty spots.
8. Staff for a weak C grade.
9. Entertainment - complete ZERO. I'm lying, once in 10 days there was an attempt to make a disco, but the music was a la 70-80 e . . After 15 minutes, everyone was drawn to their rooms.
10. The beach is good, but the ocean is not calm - unlike the coast of Bentota, the waves are quite strong.
11. There is television and even satellite, but only 5 channels: 1 is German Deutsche Welle, the second is Star Movies (movies in English), and the remaining three are local Sinhalese and that's it!
12. We went wild from 01/01/2008 to 01/11/2008, so I know the cost: 70 euros for a double all inclusive.
