We stayed at Club Koggala Village, but to be honest, I would not recommend it. This is a rather old hotel. But if you eat purely just to spend the night, then in principle everything is quite normal. We went to this hotel because the one we were planning was already booked. In principle, we are pleased with the fact that we changed the hotel. Firstly, it is located more to the south, there are fewer tourists and the harbor is close. And we were further away from the railway, unlike the first hotel. And we were much closer to Yala Park and surf centers. Our place is much cozier, our beaches in the harbor were practically without coral reefs. If you travel with children, it is very convenient here. But turtles sailed on the neighboring coral beach, we didn’t have this. Although the hotel itself is old, we were very pleased with the location. Young people will certainly not be particularly interested. The rooms here are from the 70s-80s (ours is no exception), but the room has air conditioning, it saves from the heat. An interesting point is that the beds here are either stone or concrete, which do not creak and stand still, very comfortable and with a good mattress. But everything else is in a dead state, especially the bathroom. . But if it's just like rinsing, then it's fine. Many tourists coming here turned around and went to other hotels. There is a very polite staff, all lovers of talking, everyone is waving and smiling, and tips are not asked here. The food here is quite simple, but there was plenty to choose from. Their food is certainly spicy, but you could find something for yourself. There are many more normal places nearby where you can also eat delicious food. Very beautiful nature around, a lot of living creatures. Here it is worth contacting a local guide for excursions, there is something to see, and it will be cheaper than from a guide from an agency. But it is better to travel in small groups to spend more time enjoying this beauty. The hotel has no problem if you need to change money. There is Internet, but it is only at the reception (it is better to buy a card from a local operator, especially since it costs a penny and the Internet is very good). But we are happy with everything, everything was very, very even.
